Ork Burna-Bommer

So I missed the post Saturday. This meant due to Bank Holidays in the UK, I couldn't collect my new shiny model until Wednesday. I couldn't wait to play with the kit, get it built and painted. I was awake at 5 tending to the cat who had 7 kittens. So I was comforting her and making sure she was ok while giving birth. At 7.45am I left to go to the post office. Picked up my parcel and I sped off back home. All I managed to do yesterday is get the model built and primed and finished most of the base except for grass and water effects. Today I was like a possessed daemon. I painted non stop but finished it in time :)

New Empire Characters

So I've painted up a few Empire characters. These were a blast to paint. Really enjoyed them! Not looking forward to the War Alter though :/ Again these are on ebay and there are more individual photos after the break :)

Painted Empire Demigryph Cavalry

With the new Empire book released. I thought I'd grab a few models to play with and paint. These are some of them. Fantastic kits, lovely to paint and put together. Only problem I see is they look kinda small on the bases! Quick and Easy Painting Rust Tutorial

So I've decided to do a quick tutorial on how I painted the rust on my trial Plaguebearers. Not many colours used, not much time and give a decent look. All but the finished photos were taken with my phone so excuse bad lighting etc..

I started by basecoating the metal with GW Boltgun Metal with a Large Brush. Boltgun Metak is nice dark metalic colour which is perfect for the base.

Mortis Engine

With them done, it means I have until Monday to do some of my own Skaven models. Need to push the army on so I can attend my first tournament on April 1st.

Vampire Monsters!

Some Stuff Sorted

I've decided to go with Iron Warriors with my Chaos Space Marines. I've also started my Ork Killa Kan army so lots of shooting coming in 40K. This coupled with getting back into my Dwarfs for Fantasy means alot of shots coming the enemies way. I finished 5 Gutter Runners, an Engineer and 3 Rat Swarms just incase the Hell Pit dies for my Skaven army this weekend. I've also finished a quick paint job of Krell (found here - http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/elfordminis/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686).
I hope to have the Blood Angels finished this week and shift them. They have been sitting around for a year now and I've lost intrest in collecting a full army of them.

My Painting Desk

I've got a fair bit on it. Mainly some Ogre Kingdoms models. An Ironblaster, Stonehorn, Thundertusk, 2 Mournfangs, an Anhillator Barge + Lord and 2 Haemonculi.
Should hopfully have these done end of the week. Only the Ironblaster is finished though >.<

Ogres

Just a few WIP shots of some new ogres. Very nice models, and  had no problems with the Finecast material despite hearing alot about alot of problems. Let me know what you think of the skin which is now finished. I'm also on twitter, follow @elfordminis

Khorne Terminators

This weekend while finishing some eBay models, I also done my Khorne Terminators for my 40K army. Only tabletop standard again as I want to get a fully painted army on the board and decided these are the ones :)

Monster Mash

Today I've made the new Vampire Count models to be sold on eBay. Like all of GW's new models, these were a joy to make and very easy due to the instructions. They have done well with the new kits.

I also finished my Khorne Daemon Prince but I'll show some photos of them tomorrow.

Grey Knight Terminators

Finished off the Terminators. Nice models once again, seems like I'm on commission keep going on how nice the models are!
