Small Models Done

So I've finished up all 70 Ghouls for the Vampire Count army. Its taken its time and its been truely soul destroying! But they are done! I've realised I might have to get a wide lens. I can't take pictures of hordes or of long lines of models. This is something I'll look into so apologies on the pictures. Next up.. Hexwraiths of Blood Knights? Let me know what you want me to start painting tomorrow.

Test Models

So I've thrown together some colours for the Vampire Count Army I intend to start next week. Not much in terms of guidence given, just greys/greens and some red on the Varghiests. The red on the Varghiest looks quite drawn out but hoping the overall effect and scheme looks decent enough. I may have to give the red a glaze or wash to change it a little :/

Ramblings

So today I've done a bit of painting. Not as much as I should have but still got some done. I also put together my Skaven Warlord with Fellblade. Converted from a number of parts I just need to wait until tomorrow to get the green stuff out and tidy the robes up at the back of the model.

Death Guard Dreadnought WIP

Heres a quick WIP picture of the Dreadnought for the Death Guard commission. I'll have this finished and better photos taken tommorrow. I think I'll then tackle the possessed. They should be fun :)

Plague Furnace WIP

So I've made great progress on the Death Guard commission, so late last night I decided to paint some of the Plague Furnace. At the rate I'm going, it will only be a few more days until its finished! There are 20 seperate pieces though!

More Stormvermin

I've completed another 5 Stormvermin. I've worked it out, and I need another 13 painted for a tournament mid June. Easy enough to do. I would like to do another Warlord and maybe a another BSB but I'll see what time I have. For the rest of the week, I need to work on the Death Guard commission. By the weekend, I hope to have all 20 marines done which leaves me the 2 characters to do at the weekend. The following week will be the Possessed and the Dreadnought.

I've finished up 10 Stormvermin. I'm not going to post a 'proper' picture until I've finished the other 30 :)

Ork Killa Kan

So I'm really starting to dislike 40K. That or I'm growing ever in love with Fantasy. So I've decided to paint up my Ork army I have lying around and sell it. It will be a few months I think seeing as I have commissions and my Skaven to continue with but heres the first model!

Stormvermin Test Models 2

So here are a few changes done with the feed back from everybody. I'm really liking the black armour and the black glossy blade to highlight they are 'elite' infantry.

Test Stormvermin

Heres my two different test models for the Stormvermin. One has a slightly darker metal then the Clanrats, the other has black armour with chips from it. What do you all prefer?

Test Plaguebearer

I've painted up a quick Plaguebearer for some Daemons. Want some feedback! A friend has also asked for a tutorial on the rust so I'll get one done and upload it tomorrow!

Vampire Monsters!

My Painting Desk

I've got a fair bit on it. Mainly some Ogre Kingdoms models. An Ironblaster, Stonehorn, Thundertusk, 2 Mournfangs, an Anhillator Barge + Lord and 2 Haemonculi.
Should hopfully have these done end of the week. Only the Ironblaster is finished though >.<

Ogres

Just a few WIP shots of some new ogres. Very nice models, and  had no problems with the Finecast material despite hearing alot about alot of problems. Let me know what you think of the skin which is now finished. I'm also on twitter, follow @elfordminis

Monster Mash

Today I've made the new Vampire Count models to be sold on eBay. Like all of GW's new models, these were a joy to make and very easy due to the instructions. They have done well with the new kits.

I also finished my Khorne Daemon Prince but I'll show some photos of them tomorrow.

The Next Two Weeks

Just a quick one. I've got 47 models to finish by Friday the 19th. These include commissions, stuff for ebay and a few of my own models. On commission I've got a Plague Claw Catapult and an Abomination for a client in Spain, and 10 Gutter Runners for a client here in the UK. The eBay lot consists of some of the Tomb King models which have been laying around since thier release months ago! And for my own army, Chaos Marines which I was kindly given by a friend, I have a small Khorne army I want to get painted just so some of the army have colour. A Daemon Prince, 10 Possessed, 8 Bezerkers and Rhino, 5 Terminators with Lightning Claws and a Lord with Lightning Claws. Quite a bit of work in what seems so little time so wish me luck :)

WIP Hell Pit Abomination

Tuesday night saw the death of a friend, RIP Dan, so I haven't done much since then. What I have done though is do a bit more on a commission for a friend in Finland. I assembled his watchtower scenery. Lovely piece, and continued work on his Skaven Hell Pit Abomination. Below are pictures, there are still alot more to be done as can be seen but its getting there!

WIP Grey Knight Terminators

The last few days have been a bit mental for me. I've had quite a big change in my real life situations and quite a few commitments to fufil but all back on track now. I hope!

Today I've been painting some Grey Knight Terminators. These probably have about 7-8 colours remaining so these will be completed tomorrow. The date for the auctions has been set back and back, but I'm confident they will be up tomorrow evening and will last for 7 days.

Model Making

Today has seen me finish making most of the models  needed done. I finished the Dreadknight, all 10 GK Terminators and the 5 man Purifier squad. These were all primed too!

I also made my friend and client's Hell Pit Abomination. This will be primed and ready to start painting next week for him.

I'm hoping to get work in progress shots of the Grey Knights tomorrow. I've finished the Dreadknights hammer weapon and starting on his sword. Its about the size of 2 terminators on top of each other!
