So I've been toying with my next army. It has been decided on Lizardmen. I'm hoping to have it done by SCGT 2013. Now I'm not a very good player so I've written two lists I think I could have painted by the tournament and could be quite fun.
The first list is a kids list. One of everything. I want to throw down comets whilst still being able to do some sort of damage with other troops. I've only played 2 games with the lizards so far. Both at 500 points and I've enjoyed them. The second list is a big 'death star' of temple guard with 3 Saurus characters and a Slann on Beasts for Wild form and savage beasts. Also have a level 2 on heavens for some spells which could help with combat. Any way, here are the lists-
List one -
Slann, General, heavens, soul of stone, focus of rumination, focus of mystery.
Scar vet, bsb, light armour, shield, dragon helm, dawn stone.
Scar vet, cold one, shield, great weapon, armour of destiny.
Skink priest, level 2, cube of darkness.
3x10 skink skirmishers with Javelins and shields.
24 skinks, musician, 3 kroxigor.
15 skinks, musician.
20 temple guard, full command, lichebone pennant.
2x6 Chameleon skinks
Stegadon
2 x salamanders, extra handlers.
List two -
Slann, general, beasts, soul of stone, focused rumination, focus of mystery.
Old blood, light armour, halberd, dawn stone.
Scar vet, bsb, light armour, shield, dragonhelm, luck stone.
2 x scar vets, halberd light armour,
Skink priest, level 2, cube of darkness
3x10 skink skirmishers with Javelins and shields.
24 skinks, musician, 3 kroxigor.
15 skinks, musician.
20 temple guard, full command, lichebone pennant.
2x6 Chameleon skinks
2 x salamanders, extra handlers.

I would be tempted to make the Slann the BSB, purely because you can then give him the +1 leadership banner and the scar vets are then free to go play as rambo. I realise it means that your slann auto dies if the he breaks from combat but if you flee with a leadership 10 cold blooded stubborn temple guard block with a re-roll then your probably going to lose the game anyway lol!
